To be a successful nonprofit organization, our work must focus on our current programs and how we take our initiatives to the next level. We tap into our community and understand the emerging needs and opportunities of children, youth, and their families to ensure that we evolve and continue to provide services and space that enhance the quality of life of our community. In-home Montessori
Legacy Family Center (LFC) looks to take the foundation of Montessori, infuse it with a little LFC, and make it accessible to everyone via an at-home curriculum focused on parents introducing it to their children at home.
Teen Tech Center
Once Legacy Family Center finds office space to support our programming, we will outfit a Teen Tech Center to support SAT/ACT preparation, our youth's exploration of post-secondary school opportunities like college, technical school, and career exploration, along with work skill development, internships, and apprenticeships.
Library
Imagine being in a bog reading a tale about Frog & Toad or living in Whoville and having a Seussical time. Our children deserve a great area to browse a beautiful selection of books, use their imagination, and immerse themselves in reading time together.
Wellness Space
The stresses and busyness of our lives have children living under challenging circumstances, unable to self-regulate and manage their emotions. This versatile space will be purposed for teaching yoga and meditation, healthy nutrition, mental health strategies, and girls-to-women wellness.
